Care at Home
Like supported living, care at home enables people to live independently in their own home. Care at home, also known as domiciliary care, offers individuals a greater level of support and includes personal care and help with everyday tasks like getting up and going to bed, bathing, dressing, meals and medication.
It may also include help with shopping, practical tasks around the home like cooking and cleaning as well as support to access community activities like going to the cinema, pub or to enjoy other community activities.
Benefits of Care at Home

- Help to access benefits and to budget
- Help to access community activities
- Support with everyday tasks to help you stay as independent as possible

Paying for Care and Support
There are a number of ways of paying for care and support. Some people will receive funding or are funded for our services via a care package paid by social services, via a personal budget or through private/self-funding.
Direct Payments are paid to people with assessed care needs so that they can choose, arrange and pay for their own care services. Direct Payments make it possible for people to have more choice and control over the type of help and support they need. If you are in receipt of Direct Payments and wish to purchase our services, please contact us.
Referrals to this service must be made via a care co-ordinator or social worker.
